Meet the Team

Jimmy Cosentino

Jimmy Cosentino

Owner | Creative Director | Painter

Jimmy is truly his father’s son! While all his wit and sense of humor comes from his mother, Judy, it’s his skill and passion for art and creation that comes from his father Michael.

Jimmy has been involved with many forms of art since a very young age and spent over ten years as a stage actor with a local comedy dinner theater. His role as Creative Director involves reigning in all of Artisan FX’s team members for projects, handing promotion and sales and customer service duties.

As Artisan FX’s lead painter, Jimmy uses his years of experience to take unpainted models and deliver studio-quality results for Artisan quality finished pieces.

Michael Cosentino

Michael Cosentino

Master Craftsman

Michael Cosentino is a Master Craftsman and cabinet maker with a lifetime of experience in the arts. Michael will always remember accompanying his own father, a New York City scenic artist, to various jobs in the city in broadcast television scenic and prop shops. It was there that Michael was first introduced to the world of prop and set construction. In addition to his very successful career as a fine architectural woodworker, Michael contributes his vast knowledge of fabrication to the prop community as Artisan FX’s “Most Valuable Player”. He proudly crafted a number of “Trophy Box” props for the Showtime Television Series “Dexter” and now hand crafts copies of them on a very limited basis for fans worldwide. A father of four boys – he’s more than just a loving parent, but a true mentor and a master of his craft.
